Client Portal Access

Securely manage documents, ask questions, and stay connected with Clark Sclater, LLC. Bookkeeping and advisory clients use the Double app; tax clients use Intuit Link. Details for each are below.

Bookkeeping & Advisory Clients: The Double App

We use Double to give you a secure, simple way to stay on top of your finances. Ask and answer questions, upload receipts and documents, and view your financials — all from your phone. There’s no password to remember; just a secure link sent to your email.

Tax Clients: Intuit Link

If you’re a tax preparation client, we’ll send you a secure email invitation to your personal Intuit Link portal each tax season. From there you can upload documents, snap photos of receipts with your phone, and complete your tax organizer questionnaire — no separate account or app download required. Just watch your inbox for an email from Clark Sclater, LLC when it’s time to get started.

Intuit Link: Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions our tax clients ask most about Intuit Link.

How do I sign in for the first time?

Open the invitation email from Clark Sclater, LLC and select “Accept,” then “Continue.” If you already have an Intuit account under that email, just enter your password. If not, you’ll create one with a phone number and password. Once you’re in, select “Let’s Get Started” to view your document requests. You can always come back to your portal at link.intuit.com.

How do I upload my documents?

From the To Do tab, select “Continue To Do’s,” then “View questions in list.” Click the paperclip icon or “Add a Document” to upload files from your computer (hold Ctrl to select several at once). Each file is scanned and confirmed with a green checkmark. Files are limited to 30 MB each.

Can Intuit Link pull my W-2 or 1099 automatically?

For requests involving a W-2, 1099, or 1098, look for a “Get it for Me” option. It lets you securely sign in to your financial institution or payroll provider so Intuit Link can retrieve the matching document for you — no manual upload needed.

I forgot my password, or I can’t sign in — now what?

Your username is always the email address we used to send your invitation. Use the recovery link at link.intuit.com or accounts.intuit.com to reset your password. If you’ve since changed your email, sign in with the old one, update it in your account settings, and let us know so our records match.

My upload is stuck, or the page won’t load — what do I do?

This is usually a browser cache issue. Clear your browser’s cache (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge are all supported) and try again.

How do I let you know I’m finished (or stuck)?

After uploading your documents, select “I’m Done” — or “I’m Stuck” if you need help — and we’ll see it right away.
